Clear information for your furniture order before you make a binding purchase.
Furniture freight delivery
Our furniture is generally delivered by a specialist freight carrier, often Geis. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, delivery is to the kerbside or first lockable entrance. Carrying furniture inside the property, positioning it and assembly are not included automatically.
Delivery times and freight charges
Our usual lead time is often around six weeks. The information for your selected product and the confirmed delivery date take precedence. Shipping charges depend on the delivery address or postcode, destination and consignment. Any additional delivery charges must be shown as a specific amount before a paid order is placed. Online checkout remains restricted while this process is being finalised; please contact us for a shipping quotation.
Payment methods
Only the payment methods actually enabled and displayed during checkout are available. Bank transfer and Stripe processing, including supported card payments, are planned. PayPal will only be offered once the integration has been activated and tested. Methods still in test mode are not presented as currently available.
Agreed payment terms
Depending on the order, terms may expressly provide for a 50% deposit and 50% balance, full prepayment or full payment upon delivery. The terms displayed before placing the order and individually confirmed in writing are decisive. Viewing a product does not create a payment obligation.
Withdrawal and complaints
Statutory rights of withdrawal and remedies for defects remain unaffected. For bulky goods that cannot normally be returned by post, the separate withdrawal notice explains the return procedure and any applicable direct return costs. Questions? Email info@schumann-kreativwerkstatt.de.
